Srinagar Shikara Ride

The immense natural beauty of the location will stun you. Indeed, you will experience an authentic Kashmiri houseboat way of life during your stay. To arrive at your houseboat, you will be required to take a smaller boat to get there. This boat is called a shikhara.

Day 1 Arrive Srinagar....(Local Srinagar + Shikara Ride)

Meet upon arrival at Srinagar Airport by Holiday Travel Zone representative and drive to Srinagar Hotel. visit to the Shankaracharya temple (Shiva temple) which commands one of the magnificent view of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Pari mahal, Botanical Garden Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Cheshma Shahi, also called as a the royal spring :- Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor s house) overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. (Abode of pleasure) Built by Asif Khan Brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 to 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet weaving Factory. Overnight stay in hotel at Srinagar. Note :- Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets.

Day 2 Excursion to Sonmarg OR Gulmarg

After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier (By Own Cost). After our return we will visit the small town market for some snacks (By Own) or just pay a visit observing the local people going with their daily routine. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Hotel for our overnight stay. OR After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 1.5 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. 0ne can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3hrs..After breakfast enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car) (at your own expense) up to Khilanmarg to enjoy the fascinating view of Peerpanchal range and for pony ride. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow or skating (at your own expense) Overnight stay in Hotel Srinagar.

Day 3 In Srinagar | Day Excursion To Pahalgam (90kms / approx. 2.5 hour drive)

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 90 kms will be covered in about 2.5 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. In Pahalgam, Visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows at your own cost. Later have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. one can Also Vistv Aru and chandanwari at your own cost. Filmgoers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several movie scenes Overnight stay in House boat.

Day 4 Srinagar Airport - Return Home With Happy Memories

After breakfast visit Sankracharya temple, lal chowk & local market than drop to Srinagar Airport catch flight for further destination. Transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight with memorable experiences of Holiday Travel Zone.

There may be a full cancellation penalty on the products or services booked and purchased, which are non-utilized or cancelled after the cancellation deadline mentioned in the terms and conditions, while making the purchase.

Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to decline any booking or purchase for any reason and shall not be held liable for any resulting claims of losses, damages or compensation. In such an event, Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd. shall refund to you all unutilized money collected from you for that purchase.

For bookings and purchases, which has already been paid by you, when cancelled, refunds will be made (based on the refund policy, mentioned in terms and conditions, while making the booking or at the time of purchase). For air ticket, it may take between 15 - 21 working days, for the hotels it may take between 15 - 21 working days for the amount to get credited into your account and for the holiday Package it may take between 30 - 45 working days for the amount to get credited into your account. 1. 45 days or more prior to the departure date or from the booking date, Initial Booking Amount, or cancellation charges whichever is higher (non-refundable and non-transferable) an additional amount of visa fee will be forfeited (in case visa has been applied).
2. Between 30 days: 75% of the total tour cost will be charged as penalty or cancellation charges whichever is higher (non-refundable and non-transferable) an additional amount of visa fee will be forfeited (in case visa has been applied).
3. Less than 21 days: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as penalty
4. No show total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
5. The cancellation policy is subject to change. It purely depends upon the cancellation policy of respective hotels. In Peaks seasons, some hotels may charge 100% cancellation

Credit Card Chargeback Fees:
Any fees charged to Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd by our credit card payment provider arising from a chargeback or a disputed charge on the cardholder's credit card will be charged to the cardholder. This fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation Due to Visa Rejection
All the clients traveling on Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd tour must be in possession of a valid visa. The client shall ensure that the Visa Application Form (s) is duly filled and verified by the Client, to its satisfaction, before it is submitted to the Embassy. / Consulate. However, kindly note that it is entirely at the discretion of the concerned Consulate / Authorities to grant/reject visas even after submitting all relevant documents and the company will not be held responsible for the same. The company is not at all liable for such cases or has any influence on the consulate/embassy’s decision The role of the company is only to provide necessary guidance to the client for the purpose of applying for VISA. The company will not be responsible for the non-issuance of visas due to receipt of incomplete/delayed documents from the Clients. It is a possibility that the consulate may ask the passengers to appear for a personal interview. This is at the sole discretion of the Consulate / Authorities. If the required documents are not submitted by the client, the issuance of the visa will further be delayed/rejected, and the client will not hold Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd liable for the same. The client should adhere to all the norms and conditions laid by the consulate/embassy Upon rejection of visa, if the client wishes to reapply for the visa, he/she is liable to pay again the requisite fee to the consulate and he/she will not claim from Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd

Force Majeure
Acts of God (including exceptional adverse weather conditions), earthquake, fire, war (declared or undeclared), invasion, rebellion, revolt, riot, civil commotion, civil war, nuclear fission, epidemic strike, act(s) of omission/commission by any concerned government(s), or government agencies, judicial or quasijudicial authorities, the occurrence of any event can force the Company to change or extended. Hence any additional expenditure occurred due to the above reasons the same will be borne by the passengers.
